Over the past 2 years the assembled crew of the Columbia has seen Tragedy. They have seen pain. The have seen death. The hunt for the reclusive Skareen Empire in the Star Desert left them scarred and broken; losing their ship and their commanding officer. Now the crew of the Columbia must once again answer the call to service.
Leaving the Delta Quadrant behind the Columbia is now assigned to Sector 2212 near the southern Tholian border operating out of Starbase 928. Task Force 86 is assigned to this area of space is now charged with monitor the growing threat of the Gorn and Tholian Empires. With the sector seemingly moments away from all out war the work of the Columbia crew is far from done.

Hello All,
I would like the mission to wrap around the end of this month or the beginning of December. Seeing as we have lost all of our Security/Marine personnel this is purely science/medical from here on out. Once we find a vaccine/cure we can end the mission there or flash forward to a point when most of the planet has been cured or if you guys write a cure soon enough we can spend some time with the aftermath before we hit shore leave.
Also I ask that anyone who intends to stay with sim register on the forums (http://usshorlderlin.com/forum) that will be used for posting after this mission as soon as you can. This way I will be able to to know what the manifest will look like when we move.
-Chris

Hey everyone.
It seems only right as the new guy that I should introduce myself to everyone. So, in a few short words, that's exactly what I am going to do right now.
My name is Noel. I'm Canadian, and I am an absolute Sci-Fi junkie. I love Trek and my passion for writing is usually what keeps me going at the end of the day. As well, I am totally insane, and this can be blamed on Rob (TFCO of TF38 for those of you who have not met the man). But have no fear, though I may be slightly insane, I am here to write and do the job of the XO as well as I possibly can. I won't be able to take the place of your current XO, Commander Mevynn, but I'll try my own spin on things.
I'll try and make sure I'm available as much as possible for you, the crew. If you come to me with questions about the simulation or other things that may relate to Bravofleet, I will try and give you the best answer I can (before handing the reins over to the Captain which probably won't have to happen too often). And a crucial thing to mention is that I'm always up for JP's.
But that is just a little blurb about me. Lots of thanks to Chris for allowing me on board, and lots of thanks for you guys to allow me the opportunity to sign up to such an awesome sim.
